Nurture our Nature

Kind acts need not stop with person to person contact. We are all a part of nature, and we need to cherish and maintain it. Nature includes plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth.

Here are some examples of simple ways to nurture our nature.

Daniel spent much time hiking and enjoying the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains which includes the areas of Jones Gap and Bald Rock. Hiking is not only good for our physical and mental well-being, but is important for our environment as well. By hiking on established paths, we help to prevent soil erosion and compaction, and we protect vegetation and water quality.
